It's soo cool to see you dealing creatively with the same population of idiots the rest of us encounter! Gives the term "customer service" a whole new juxtaposition! ; )))

I got the book--tough for these old eyes to read the sepia print. I may get the Audible version just to stay focused on the ideas vs the typeface.

The general theme of everybody being a disciple as opposed to the current state--90% pew potatoes and 10% active disciples--is one that the Spirit of God seems to be promoting. How we do it seems to be the creative human part. Expressing the signs is up to our individual choices, but we are required as believers to "do the stuff" by the Word of God!

These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; they will pick up snakes with their hands, and whatever poison they drink will not harm them; they will place their hands on the sick and they will be well. (Mark 16:17-18)

If we claim we are “believers,” we should be demonstrating evidence of those signs that Jesus said will follow our belief. So we need to ask ourselves, What “signs” are we generating? Exactly what is it about our life that blesses or heals the world we live with and in?

As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near!’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. (Matthew 10:7-8)

Yeh, yeh, yeh, I know...the soapbox again...but that's the point of the book--he's talking about moving toward demonstrating evidence of our "belief."

It takes awhile to get used to tossing toilet paper in a trash can. What's worse is when you have to pay to use the bathroom. It seems like exploitation, after all- it's kind of a necessity.
